I am not familiar with the whole Sub/Dom dynamic, but I can see it's quite an interesting way to see it that way

Whatever your role or how you want to be treated to fulfill your needs, physically, sexually, mentally and emotionally, you are there because you choose to be. This is you attaining your own freedom in a way that matters to you most. You are there because you consent to be. I may treat you as an object. I may use you in the most perverse and degrading ways. But only because as a sub of whatever you want to define yourself as at that moment, you allow me to with your consent. A Dom is only a Dom because a sub allows them to be. Every consensual sub/Dom relationship or scenario only happens because the sub allows it to. In reality, it is always the sub who has ultimate control in every s/D scenario. Without a consenting submissive, a Dom is nothing. That is the reality of it all.
